The Stagg SBJ-30 BLK 5S retains the core character of the SBJ-30 bass while adding a fifth low string to expand its tonal reach. It features a Paulownia body in high-gloss black finish for a light but resonant feel. The neck is roasted maple, bolt-on style, and measures 867 mm (34.2") scale length, finished in satin for a smooth playing touch. The rosewood fingerboard has 20 frets and accommodates the added string comfortably. It carries a dual JB pickup configuration (one at neck, one at bridge), controlled via 2 volume knobs + 1 tone knob, allowing you to blend and tone-shape as needed.
