A powerful and versatile electric bass with solid ash body, twin pickup configuration (JB + MM), and full 24-fret rosewood fingerboard — ideal for fusion, rock, and modern genres.
The Stagg SBF-40 is part of the Fusion series, engineered to deliver sonic flexibility and strong performance. The body is made from solid ash, providing both resonance and punch. It features a bolt-on hard maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard spanning 24 frets, allowing a wide range of expression and extendable playing reach. On the electronics side, the SBF-40 uses a classic Jazz Bass (JB) style pickup in the neck position paired with a Music Man (MM) style humbucker at the bridge, enabling tonal blending from warm vintage sounds to modern aggressive drive. It includes two separate volume controls and a master tone knob for shaping your sound. Hardware includes individual saddle bridge for precise intonation, and die-cast chrome machine heads for stable tuning. The finish is black open-pore, which lets the wood grain subtly show through and aids resonance.
