Alesis M1 MK3 5inches Active Speaker
65-watt Active Studio Monitor with 5

Pro-quality Monitoring is Within Your Reach
Even if you're mixing on a budget, there's no excuse for subpar monitoring, especially when a quality studio monitor like the Alesis M1 Active MK3 is easily within reach. This monitor pushes 65 robust watts through a 5" aluminum low-frequency driver and 1" silk dome tweeter, and its bi-amplified design delivers a sound that's both powerful and accurate. Its imaging is second to none, thanks to a computer-optimized tweeter waveguide. Front-firing ports deliver low end all the way down to 45Hz, which is excellent for a speaker of this size. The M1 Active MK3 is a solid performer, with sound quality that belies its modest price tag.
Alesis: a proud history of studio monitor design
If you were making music during the Clinton administration, you probably had tons of Alesis gear in your home studio — looking at old photographs of any Sweetwater employee's 1990s-era home studio proves it. An ADAT machine was a certainty. You also probably had a QuadraVerb, and maybe an SR-16 drum machine. A lot of us also used Alesis Monitor One studio monitors — they were reasonably priced and offered performance beyond what most home recordists could afford. In 1999, Alesis brought us the M1 Active series. Now at generation 3, the M1 Active series continues Alesis' proud tradition of professional sound at an affordable price.
