The instrument of the Fender subsidiary Squier with classic poplar body and bolt-on maple neck in modern 'C' profile features a fretboard made of Indian Laurel with 21 frets in medium Jumbo format. Sonically, three standard Strat single coil pickups deliver the full range of the classic Stratocaster sound with powerful tones in bridge and neck positions, while the distinctive intermediate positions 2 and 4 can also be accessed via a 5-way blade switch. The Squier Affinity Stratocaster is completed by robust Hardware with a synchronized 2-point tremolo with six block single riders, die-cast tuners and a large Strat headstock in the style of the sixties.
