The Artist’s 2-in, 2-out Interface
The 4th-generation Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 gives artists, producers, podcasters, and home-studio creators a serious recording upgrade in a compact USB-C interface. It combines two detailed Scarlett mic preamps, front-panel line/instrument inputs, RedNet-derived 24-bit/192kHz conversion, Auto Gain, Clip Safe, Dynamic Gain Halos, Air Mode, loopback, and a powerful headphone output. With Focusrite Easy Start and the included recording software bundle, Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen is ready for vocals, guitars, synths, podcasts, streaming, and full song production.
Studio-quality 2-in/2-out recording
Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen is built for clean, detailed recording in a simple desktop format. It delivers 24-bit/192kHz audio quality with professional-grade converters and up to 120dB of dynamic range, making it suitable for vocals, guitars, keyboards, podcasts, content creation, and small studio production.

Two ultra-low-noise microphone preamps
The two Scarlett microphone preamps are designed for clear vocal and instrument capture, with a wide 69dB gain range that helps handle both quiet and loud sources. Phantom power is available for condenser microphones, while the compact layout keeps recording fast and easy.
Auto Gain and Clip Safe
Auto Gain helps set input levels quickly by listening to your performance and adjusting the preamp gain. Clip Safe monitors the signal during recording and automatically reduces gain when the input is close to clipping, helping protect important takes from distortion.
Air Mode with Presence and Harmonic Drive
Air Mode gives recordings extra character inspired by classic studio console sound. Presence mode brings vocals and acoustic instruments forward in the mix, while Harmonic Drive adds midrange richness and punch for guitars, vocals, and other sources that need more energy.
Front-panel guitar, synth, and line inputs
The two front-panel inputs can be used for instruments or line-level sources, making it easy to connect electric guitars, basses, synths, drum machines, and keyboards directly. The Hi-Z instrument mode gives guitars and basses a natural amp-like response for DI recording and amp-sim workflows.
Loopback, Easy Start, and included software bundle
Loopback lets you capture stereo audio from computer apps directly into your DAW through virtual inputs, which is useful for streaming, sampling, podcasting, and content creation. Focusrite Easy Start guides new users through setup, and the package includes Pro Tools Intro+, Ableton Live Lite, Cubase LE, and the Hitmaker Expansion software bundle.
